I was banned for 1 hour, for "Annoying Behavior". Yesterday, I had tried something with the /powertool command, which I didn't even know we had until woodlandwayfarer pointed it out. I was trying commands, when I stumbled upon /powertool minecraft:me (message). I used it seldom, and have been waiting for an admin or Ergo to get on to fix this bug. I did not tell anyone how to do it, despite a lot of people asking. Once I realized Rose was on, I messaged her once, typed "Rose" in chat 3 times in the span of about 2 minutes, and then messaged her again about finding a bug. She never responded, so I figured she was busy. I was chopping down a tree when the block wasn't breaking, so I figured lag, but then realized I had forgotten to clear the powertool on my axe, hence the 6 messages of "The power is corrupting me". This message had been used once, I believe this afternoon when I was "role playing" with a couple members. I was pretending to be evil, and quoting star wars (Now that the senate is mine, I can rule the galax- I mean server with this power!). I didnt know the powertool command was still on my axe. This was unintentional, and I didnt know it had happened until I saw chat. I said "crap", and "sorry", and Pac hit me with her stick ;-; (just kidding she didnt). I was banned a few seconds later. This shows up on someone's record for staff applications, and it was not malicious. The only reason this happened is because whoever made /powertool available forgot to restrict commands like minecraft:me. I'm very sorry that the chat was spammed, but, once again, it was NOT intentional. It was sort of ironic because of the spamming 6 times and "the power is corrupting", but I did not realize it happened until a few seconds before I was banned. People get muted for 10 minutes for spamming, but I got banned for an hour, doing something I did not mean to do. This powertool problem needs to be fixed, and I'm not sure why it is even there in the first place.
