IMPORTANT: HOW TO POST SCREENSHOTS/IMAGES ON FORUMS

This is important because unless you take a video, this is the only way to report someone. Also, this is not posting a link to imgur, this is posting an image right there on the screen.  I'll walk you through with screenshots from my PC. Now if you have a Mac...well I don't know man, it may be the same though, I don't really know Macs that well. :/



First go to your start menu.  Search up "snipping tool"    If you do not have it then you should download it. (I would get a link but I can't find a good one, wouldn't want to be responsible for a virus!)















When the little "snipping tool" tab comes up, just stay calm and click "new". Then it should shade out everything a bit. You can move your cursor and click and drag to get the perfect screenshot. Once you've done it, you should be at a menu that shows your picture and ways to edit it. As you can probably see, you can use pens and eraser. For now, click on save and save it to somewhere where you will remember. I save it to my personal folder. Got it so far? Good.  Its not over yet but your doing great. Your now going to have to head over to imgur.com, (this is my preferred website to post photos so I will use it here, but feel free to use whatever site you like to post them.)

Your now at the imgur screen. The best part about this website is you won't need to register/log in. You just click upload and I'll walk you through it.  













Now that your here and clicked the upload button then you should see "Browse your computer" out of the 4 choices they offer. If you did what I said earlier and put it in a safe/good place you could remember, then browse your computer and find that place. If you didn't, then just redo the steps I did earlier and put in it a good place you can find later. You should see Capture.png where you put it. Double click that.  Now you should see "start upload." Here is a helpful screenshot:










You've posted a screenshot on Imgur! Nice going!  Now you see this screen:














See what I circled in red? Yeah, copy and paste that. MAKE SURE IT IS THAT ONE! Otherwise it will just be a link to your photo on Imgur instead of a photo right there  Again, please make sure you copy/pasting it under BBCode (message boards & forums)

                        NOTE: I do know there are easier ways to take screenshots in Minecraft but those ways may not work on other games/thing your taking picture of so this is just good knowledge to know
